The theme of memory, conscience and moral choice in ossetian children's literature (on V. Maliev’s play “Dzarakhan”).

Abstract

Имя и творчество талантливого осетинского поэта, писателя, драматурга Васо Георгиевича Малиева входит в сокровищницу осетинской художественной литературы. В представленном исследовании на материале пьесы «Дзарахан», жанр которого сам автор определил как драма-рассказ, поднимаются проблемы нравственного выбора, темы предательства, памяти, совести. В фокусе внимания писателя – соотношение прошлого и настоящего в нравственном становлении личности. Особое внимание автором статьи акцентируется на ретроспекции, происходящей в форме воспоминаний героев, которое писатель осуществил на уровне композиции, а также изображения героев. Цель предпринятого исследования состоит в раскрытии специфики художественного осмысления В. Малиевым проблемы нравственного выбора. Анализ основан на основополагающих методах и принципах научного исследования, среди которых: типологический, структурный и в некоторой степени – биографический, использованные в их взаимосвязи. Актуальность исследования обусловлена необходимостью научного осмысления вклада Васо Малиева в историю осетинской литературы второй половины ХХ – начала XXI века, его роли в развитии осетинской детской литературы, а также необходимостью изучения и систематизации его творческого наследия. Научная новизна работы определяется тем, что рассматриваемое произведение (пьеса «Дзарахан») впервые введено в научный оборот. Результаты исследования могут быть использованы при написании истории осетинской детской литературы, при преподавании курса «Осетинская литература» в вузовской практике. The name and work of the talented Ossetian poet, writer, playwright Vaso Georgievich Maliev is included in the treasury of Ossetian fiction. In the presented study, based on the material of the play “Dzarahan”, the genre of which the author himself defined as a drama-story, problems of moral choice, themes of betrayal, memory, and conscience are raised. The writer’s focus is on the relationship between the past and the present in the moral development of the individual. The author of the article focuses special attention on retrospection, which occurs in the form of memories of the heroes, which the writer carried out at the level of composition, as well as the image of the heroes. The purpose of the undertaken research is to reveal the specifics of V. Maliev’s artistic understanding of the problem of moral choice. The analysis is based on the fundamental methods and principles of scientific research, including: typological, structural and, to some extent, biographical, used in their interrelation. The relevance of the study is due to the need for a scientific understanding of Vaso Maliev’s contribution to the history of Ossetian literature of the second half of the 20th – early 21st centuries, his role in the development of Ossetian children’s literature, as well as the need to study and systematize his creative heritage. The scientific novelty of the work is determined by the fact that the work in question (the play “Dzarahan”) was introduced into scientific circulation for the first time. The results of the study can be used when writing the history of Ossetian children's literature, when teaching the course “Ossetian literature” in university practice.
