Career guidance in general education: situation analysis, trends and development prospects

Abstract

Введение. Успешность социально-экономического развития страны и  региона определяется кадровым потенциалом, на  повышение которого работает в  том числе система профессиональной ориентации. С 2018 года после акцентирования внимания президентом страны на  этом сегменте общего образования наблюдаются существенные трансформации, требующие научного осмысления и анализа. Пятилетний срок является достаточным, чтобы оценить произошедшие изменения в подходах к профориентационной работе и наметить перспективы их дальнейшего развития. Цель. Обосновать перспективность модели фонового профессионального самоопределения в профессионально-ориентированной образовательной среде. Методы. В работе использовались методы ретроспективного анализа, теоретического моделирования, синтеза, обобщения и сравнения. Результаты. Представлены тенденции и  перспективы развития профессиональной ориентации школьников, в том числе в виде авторской модели фонового профессионального самоопределения в профессионально-ориентированной образовательной среде. Научная новизна. Проведен анализ актуальных подходов и моделей профессиональной ориентации школьников в разрезе пятилетней ретроспективы. Предложена модель фонового профессионального самоопределения в профессионально-ориентированной образовательной среде. Практическая значимость. Результаты исследования могут быть использованы специалистами в области управления образованием при разработке комплексных региональных программ профессиональной ориентации в системе общего образования. Introduction. The success of  a country’s and region’s socio-economic development is  determined by  its human resource potential, the enhancement of  which is  influenced, in part, by the system of career guidance. Since 2018, significant transformations have been observed in the field of career guidance following the country’s president’s increased focus on  this segment of  general education, necessitating scientific understanding and analysis. A  five-year period is  deemed sufficient to  assess the changes in approaches to career guidance and outline the prospects for further development. Aim. To substantiate the viability of the background model of professional self-determination in a professionally-oriented educational environment. Methods. The study employed retrospective analysis, theoretical modeling, synthesis, generalization, and comparison methods. Results. Trends and prospects in the development of students’ career guidance, including the author’s background model of professional self-determination in a professionally oriented educational environment, are presented. Scientific novelty. An  analysis of  current approaches and models of  students’ career guidance over a five-year retrospective period has been conducted. A background model of professional self-determination in a professionally-oriented educational environment has been proposed. Practical significance. The research results can be utilized by education management professionals in the development of comprehensive regional programs for career guidance in the general education system.
