Specifics of Emotional Intelligence in Children of Primary School Age with Partial Immaturity of Higher Mental Functions

Abstract

The article presents a theoretical analysis of the problems of development of emotional intelligence in children of primary school age with partial immaturity of higher medical functions. In the reviewed studies, emotional intelligence is defined as a person's ability to navigate the emotional sphere. The work reveals the innovativeness of emotional intelligence for personality development. A comparative analysis of the specifics of emotional intelligence of junior schoolchildren with normotypical development and junior schoolchildren with partial immaturity of higher medical functions is presented. In conclusion, further study of these issues is necessary.
