Abstract

Sulfonated β-cyclodextrin (CD1) combined with nanocurcumin or nanoclay was used to prepare multifunctional polyurethane (PU) coatings having antimicrobial capabilities. The combination resulted in formation of an inclusion complex which is confirmed by Raman studies and Job's plot analysis.
