The study adopts a survey research design. The population of this study comprise of 440 employees from the four major four major oil and gas firms operating in River state, Nigeria. The Taro Yamen’s formula (1973) was adopted to determine the sample size from the population which was two hundred and ten. After data cleaning, 195 questionnaires were finally used for data analysis. Descriptive statistics was used for the primary analysis using mean scores and standard deviation, at the tertiary stage, the bivariate analysis was carried out to determine the strength and direction of the relationship between the onboarding practices and the measures of employee experience outcomes with the use of linear regression in other to test the stated hypotheses formulated for the study with the aid of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences version 25. The empirical findings revealed that there was a strong and positive relationship between onboarding practices and the measures of employee experience outcomes in oil and gas companies in Rivers State, Nigeria.
