Exploring Perspectives on Cancer Screening in People Aged 30-70: A Comparative Study of Those With and Without Type 2 Diabetes

Abstract

Objective: The aim of the study was to assess attitudes and behaviors related to cancer screening using an attitude scale for cancer screening among individuals aged 30-70 with and without type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods: This prospective case-control study was conducted from March to May 2023 at a single center. A total of 197 participants, including 67 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and 130 participants without type 2 diabetes mellitus aged 30-70, were enrolled using simple random sampling.
