The permissive style allows the development of a good level of self-esteem but hinders the development of social skills. Abstract

Knowing which of the parenting styles favors the development of different socio-emotional skills was the objective of this document. A bibliographic research was carried out in order to identify the theoretical advances around the subject of parenting styles, socio-emotional skills and the relationship between these variables.
