Information technology for the harmonization of activities and diagnostics of the institution of higher education

Abstract

In today's world, technological progress steadily affects all areas of our lives. Easy search for the necessary information, instant contact with the necessary person, the ability to perform one's work without leaving one's own home - these phenomena are without a doubt the consequences of the development of information technologies. We will pay special attention to the last point, because the current stage of development makes it possible to effectively perform our work remotely, despite the problems that our society has had to face, namely, the COVID-19 pandemic, and later - the war. Institutions of higher education, as well as other subjects of the information environment, are actively trying to implement innovative approaches to improve their activities, ensure effective organization of work processes and high quality of education. But not all approaches and methods that are used in the same large and small corporate companies are acceptable for implementation in their original form within the framework of a higher education institution. Peculiarities and problems of business processes, which are typical for higher educational institutions, are considered. In today's digital world, effective document management is becoming a key component to ensure the smooth functioning of various fields of activity, increase productivity and ensure quality of service. Unfortunately, the current state of the use of information technologies in the issue of document flow optimization in institutions of higher education does not meet the requirements for the effective use of human resources, which ensure the functioning of this institution with their work. Scientific research in the field of electronic document circulation helps to understand the basic principles and concepts on which the functioning of systems is based. This approach makes it possible to consider electronic document management systems as an integral part of the general information environment of the organization. In addition, the scientific approach provides an opportunity to learn about the latest trends and innovations in the field of electronic document management. An analysis of research on the topic of implementation and application of electronic document management systems has been carried out.
