URBAN AGGLOMERATIONS IN THE SYSTEM OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Abstract

The article deals with the issues of socio-economic development of urban agglomerations in Russia. Using the materials of the Federal State Statistics Service, the role of urban agglomerations of different sizes in various socio-socio-economic processes in the country is illustrated. There are significant disparities in the level of economic development between agglomerations of different sizes, as well as between territorial structures within agglomerations.
