Technologies in Management of Breeding Resources in Livestock Farming

Abstract

The issues of managing breeding resources in the context of the large-scale use of IT technologies in the processes of registration and identification of livestock, analysis of the existing database of primary zootechnical and veterinary records, animal phenotypes, the relationship of genotypic and phenotypic characteristics of breeding animals, etc. are considered. The main paths of modern trends in the development of IT technologies in cattle herd development programs are identified.
