Abstract

This study aims to investigate the teaching method of Korean writing for foreign undergraduate students. For foreign students majoring in Korean, the language serves a dual purpose as a tool for academic activities and an academic goal in itself, which distinguishes them from other learners with different academic objectives. Therefore, it is crucial to tailor Korean writing instruction to meet the specific needs of this student population. Therefore, the goal is to design writing classes for foreign undergraduate students majoring in Korean, considering both genre and content knowledge.
