Historical aspects of the participation of Kazakhs in the First World War

Abstract

In the article, the authors explore the historical aspects of the participation of the Kazakhs in the First World War. Like other representatives of “foreign” peoples, the Kazakhs for the most part were not called to the front, but worked in the rear. The authors note the great role of the Alash movement, headed by A.N. Bukeikhan in support of compatriots in the rear of the Western Front.
