Abstract

The article studies the expression form, modeling language, aesthetic thought and implication of folk art, and explore the strategy of integrating local folk art with modern art design teaching suitable for ethnic universities. The integration of folk art into art design teaching can improve students' aesthetic ability, expand students' design space and establish an art design education system with regional characteristics. In the article, the concept of traditional folk-art resources and the current application and development in art design teaching are briefly analyzed.
