This research uses qualitative data collection methods through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis through data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Based on research before using used jerry cans as media, the achievement was only to get the lowest score of 65, and the highest score was 88. In the second observation, students drawing decorative floral motifs using used jerry cans as media can increase creative work and achieve KKTP scores. Assessment of student work can be assessed based on the categories very good (85.01-100), good (75.01-85), adequate (70.01-75), poor (<70). Based on these categories, the presentation of improvement from observations can be seen. first to the second observation, namely the very good category from 3.12% to 18.75%, the good category from 50% to 56.25%, the fair category decreased from 34.3% to 25%, and the poor category decreased from 12.5 % becomes 0 %. The highest score is 88 to 93, the lowest score is 65 to 76, the total score is 2404 to 2564 and the average score is 75.12 to 80.12.%, so that the average score of students has reached the KKTP score, namely the 80, in the learning material for drawing decorative floral motifs. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan (1) mendiskripsikan proses menggambar ragam hias flora pada media bahan bekas jerigen siswa kelas VII.2 MTs Negeri 1 Balikpapan,(2)menganalisis hasil kreativitas gambar ragam hias flora pada bahan bekas jerigen yang dihasilkan oleh siswa MTs Negeri 1 Balikpapan.Penelitian ini mengg unakan métode kualitatif pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan penelitian sebelum menggunakan media bahan bekas jerigen pencapaian hanya memperoleh nilai terendah nilai 65, dan nilai tertingginya memperoleh nilai 88.Pada pengamatan kedua siswa menggambar motif ragam hias flora menggunakan media bahan bekas jerigen bisa meningkatkan kreatifitas berkarya dan dapat tercapai nilai KKTP.
