This research is classroom action research carried out in 2 cycles. Each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation and evaluation and reflection stages. The indicators of success in this research are student activity that is at least in the active category at the end of the cycle and achieving classical completeness of at least 85%. The research results showed that the average score of student learning activities in cycle I was 10.5 in the active category and the student learning activity score in cycle II was 14.5 in the very active category. Classical completeness reached 62.5% in cycle I and classical completeness reached 89.5% in cycle II. Based on the research results above, it can be concluded that the application of the Pair Check type cooperative learning model can increase student activity and learning achievement in cube and block material in class VIII-C at SMPN 2 Labuapi for the 2021/2022 academic year. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII-C di SMP Negeri 2 Labuapi pada materi kubus dan balok tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklusnya meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan evaluasi serta refleksi. Adapun indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini adalah aktivitas siswa minimal berkategori aktif pada akhir siklus serta tercapainya ketuntasan klasikal minimal 85%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan skor rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 10,5 dengan kategori aktif dan skor aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus II 14,5 dengan kategori sangat aktif. Ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 62,5% pada siklus I serta ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 89,5% pada siklus II.
