The results were evaluated by means of SPSS Statistical Program and differences were observed between habitats. A strong correlation was found between the phenolic and flavonoid contents of plants and their antioxidant activities. Abstract

In the present study, plants species growing in different habitats (gypsum, limestone, serpentine) within the province of Erzincan Gypsum (Gypsophila lepidioides, Psephellus recepii, Tanacetum heterotomum, Verbascum alyssifolium), limestone (Chrysophthalmum montanum, Cyclotrichium niveum, Phlomis oppositiflora, Teucrium leucophyllum) serpentine (Convolvulus pseudoscammania, Fumana aciphylla, Gladiolus halophilus, Hypericum thymbrifolium, Salvia indica) were examined.
