CLINICAL CASE OF LATE DIAGNOSIS OF CHRONIC THROMBOEMBOLIC PULMONARY HYPERTENSION

Abstract

The article is devoted to chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension, the mechanisms of its development, the features of its diagnosis and specific treatment. As an illustration, a clinical case of chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension is presented in a patient with repeatedly recurrent pulmonary embolisms against the background of chronic thrombophlebitis of the veins of the lower extremities, breast cancer and chemotherapy. The importance of timely diagnosis of the disease under discussion and determining the correct tactics for managing such patients to improve their prognosis and survival are outlined.
