Paedagogical Competencies and Learning Principles on Students' Learning Interests

Abstract

This type of research is a qualitative research that uses a research survey method that is used to look for the effect of certain treatments. This means that this study uncovers existing data without providing treatment or manipulation of research variables. The reason researchers took this approach was to determine the effect of pedagogical competence and learning principles on students' interest in learning at SMP Negeri 2 Limboto. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of pedagogical competence and learning principles on students' interest in learning at SMP Negeri 2 Limboto. As seen from the normality test, there is a significant effect with the value of the pedagogical competency variable 0.035> 0.05, the learning principles variable 0.240> 0.05 and learning interest variable 0.236> 0.05.
