Percepción de los docentes sobre el uso del modelo tecno-pedagógico “Aula del Futuro” durante la pandemia COVID-19 considerando la Ciencia de Datos

Abstract

The objective of this quantitative research is to analyze the perceptions of teachers about the use of the techno-pedagogical model called “Classroom of the Future” for the teaching work, sequence design and collaborative learning through Data Science. The Machine Learning algorithms used in this study are Linear Regression and Decision Tree. The sample is made up of 108 teachers from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (NAUM). The results indicate that the understanding of the techno-pedagogical model “Classroom of the Future” positively influences the teaching work, design of the sequence and collaborative learning. Likewise, this study establishes 3 predictive schemes on the use of this techno-pedagogical model considering the characteristics of educators through the decision tree technique. In conclusion, the techno-pedagogical model called “Classroom of the Future” is an alternative that facilitates the teaching-learning process and construction of new virtual educational spaces during the COVID-19 pandemic.
