The research instruments used were: validator questionnaire sheets and data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical formulas for the percentage of mean scores. The results showed that the development product was in the form of animated video media on the material Sounds of What? with reading skills. Media \"Movie Studio\" on material Sounds What? developed proved to be very feasible for use by grade 1 students for SD. Abstract

: This article discusses the development of animated video media using a movie studio to improve reading skills in grade 1 elementary school.
