Mangroves have the ability to store large carbon reserves, 3-5 times that of the heaviest mainland forest carbon reserves. Mangrove secondary forests can also be assessed as storing 54.1–182.5 tons of carbon per hectare. Carbon prices on the international market are priced at IDR 30,000 to IDR 270,000 per tonne of CO2. With the great potential of mangrove forests in Indragiri Hilir to meet international demand for carbon, carbon trade can be used as an alternative regional income that is earmarked as a budget for development in the environmental and forestry sectors. This research was conducted by Desk Review and Survey Research. Primary data collection through QSPM to related stakeholders. To plan carbon trade action, this study also formulates a business model canvas and a SWOT analysis to map the strategic directions to be executed going forward. Based on the analysis above, Indragiri Hilir Regency has great potential in the carbon trade. However, the most important notes for treatment are [1]: making records of carbon emission production, absorption, and the gap between emissions and emission absorption and [2]: strengthening institutional capacity related to carbon trade. \n \nIndragiri Hilir merupakan daerah pesisir yang memiliki hutan mangrove yang sangat luas 131.658 Hektar. Mangrove memiliki kemampuan untuk menyimpan besar cadangan Carbon besar, 3-5 kali dari cadangan Carbon hutan daratan yang terlebat. Hutan sekunder mangrove mampu juga dinilai menyimpan Carbon 54,1-182,5 ton Carbon setiap hectare. Harga Carbon di pasar Internasional dibanderol Rp 30 ribu-Rp 270 ribu per Ton CO2. Dengan besarnya potensi hutan mangrove di Indragiri Hilir untuk memenuhi permintaan Carbon internasional, dengan demikian maka Carbon Trade dapat dijadikan alternatif pendapatan daerah yang diperuntukkan sebagai anggaran untuk pembangunan bidang lingkungan dan kehutanan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan Desk Review dan Penelitian Survey. Pengumpulan Data Primer melalui QSPM kepada stakeholder terkait. Untuk merencanakan aksi Carbon Trade, penelitian ini juga merumuskan Business Model Canvas dan Analisa SWOT untuk memetakan arah strategi yang dijalankan kedepan. Berdasarkan analisa di atas, Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir memiliki Potensi yang besar didalam Carbon Trade.
