This research uses a type of development research using the 4D development model. The results found in this study are: Development of a Local Language and Literature Textbook “Bo' Sangaji Kai” Using the Anticipation Guide Strategy for STKIP Yapis Dompu Students using the Four-D development model is in the “GOOD” category, this is evidenced by six criteria for a good learning device, namely: (a) Valid according to the validator, (b) Effective for the lecturer's ability to manage learning in class, (c) Effective for student activities in carrying out learning activities in class, (d) Positive response students to learning activities, (e) Valid, reliable, and sensitive for the Learning Outcomes Test, and (f) classical learning completeness has been achieved. Abstract
