History of the partisan reconnaissances squad "Yaroslavets"

Abstract

On the example of the partisan detachment "Yaroslavets", formed NKVD Department of the Yaroslavl region, the author considers the contribution of Yaroslavl region in the defeat of Nazi troops. The detachment was created in 1942 and was sent behind enemy lines in the Smolensk region. The study of the history of the detachment made it possible to analyze the patriotic upsurge of the inhabitants of the region during the Great Patriotic War.
