Abstract

Zhao et al. have developed an innovative patient-specific Vein-Chip, inspired by the traditional Chinese Movable Typing. The novel injection soft-lithography and assembly techniques enable a cost-efficient platform for personalized cerebral venous sinus thrombosis analysis. These chips hold the potential to serve as pre-clinical diagnostic tools to thoroughly assess personalized Virchow's triad, including hyper-coagulation, altered blood flow, and endothelial dysfunction (e386).
