DIDACTICS OF DISTANCE LEARNING AND TRAINING

Abstract

The aim of the article is to systematize knowledge about distance learning and training, characteristics of the subject and basic concepts of didactics, an attempt to identify the theoretical and practical roots of the changes introduced in didactics forced by technical and technological development, to show the essence and types of distance learning and training, the principles and methods of distance education and to present the advantages and disadvantages of distance education.
