Abstract
In a recent Presidential Advisory report, the American Heart Association (AHA) defined cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic (CKM) syndrome as a spectrum of pathology associated with dysfunctional or excess adiposity and leading to adverse cardiovascular outcomes.
