By conducting a specific risk assessment on the accident based on the actual maritime conditions, Shenzhen Hangpeng Marine Environmental Service Co., Ltd. soon developed a scientific, thorough emergency response plan, meanwhile adopted a series of effective methods and measures to control the situation and to prevent oil spilling out. Due to the dense fog on the sea, the container vessel “XINJIANG” suffered a violent hit by the bow of another container ship near Dangang waterway, causing serious damage to tank 4#, 5# and 6#.
