Abstract
The mandible of minipigs may be devitalized cryosurgically. With the used cryotechnical method deep temperatures down to -131 degrees C and freezing speeds of 62 degrees C/min can be reached. The bone scintiscanning proved suitable method for establishing the progress of the revitalisation.
