Abstract
The development of safe and versatile functional agents for nutritional fortification and plant health defense is highly needed. This paper reports a triazole selenourea that enables the nutritional fortification of Chinese flowering cabbage (Brassica campestris L. ssp. chinensis var. utiliz Tsen et Lee) microgreens and defense against Colletotrichum higginsianum and diamondback moth (Plutella xylostella). It can significantly increase the content of nutrients (such as soluble proteins, soluble sugars, total flavonoids, total phenolics, and glucosinolates) in microgreens, promote the absorption of mineral elements, and improve the composition of amino acids. It can also effectively control the incidence of anthracnose rot and P. xylostella in vivo.
