Among the theorists and practitioners in the field of education there appeared both ardent supporters of the use of these technologies, and strong opponents of this idea. Our experimental study proved the efficiency of artificial intelligence technologies in the process of the formation of foreign language communicative competence of students of non-linguistic specialties of higher educational institutions. Abstract

Over the last few years, the global academic community has been wondering about the possibility and efficiency of using artificial intelligence technologies in the educational process in general, and in the process of teaching foreign languages in particular. Among the theorists and practitioners in the field of education there appeared both ardent supporters of the use of these technologies, and strong opponents of this idea. Our experimental study proved the efficiency of artificial intelligence technologies in the process of the formation of foreign language communicative competence of students of non-linguistic specialties of higher educational institutions. At the same time, we emphasize that the role of the teacher in the process of organizing the educational process remains fundamental, whereas his/her additional tasks in modern conditions include a careful selection of artificial intelligence technologies, creation of a set of exercises based on their application, which should contribute to the formation of professional competencies of students.
利用人工智能技术培养大学生外语交际能力
