INFORMATION AND PSYCHOLOGICAL SECURITY OF A PERSON IN A POLYETHNIC SOCIETY

Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of the main sources of information of Kazakhstanis, which are very popular among Kazakhstanis as the main information source. In this regard, the information problem is actualized - the psychological security of the individual as a citizen of a multinational state. The continuous production of information content makes fundamental changes in the information space and these transformations affect all spheres of human life and personality. As methods of analysis, the author conducted a survey to identify citizens' understanding of the concepts of "information and psychological security", "negative impact of information". Based on the results of a sociological survey and subsequent data analysis, the author comes to conclusions about the relevance of the problem of information and psychological security of a person in a multi-ethnic society in the context of the development of information technologies.
