Abstract
Objectives: The purpose of this study is to confirm the relationship of maximum occlusal force and physical and oral features.
Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was filled by 50 adults and oral examination was conducted by dental hygienist in Gyeongnam from March to June, 2023. The occlusal force was measured by Innobyte for 2 times. All presented results were analysed by SPSS ver 21.0.
Results: The maximum occlusal force of males is higher than females(p<0.05). Those who had no bruxism, subjective malocclusion showed the greater occlusal force than candidates with bruxism, subjective malocclusion(p<0.05).
Conclusions: The gender, bruxism and subjective malocclusion are associated with the occlusal force.
