Research on Healing Agriculture Service Design Model

Abstract

Healing through agricultural activities is one of the prevention and solution methods for people who need healing medically and socially. Healing agriculture is developing in various forms, from one-time products such as rural tourism and experiences to continuous agricultural activities to solve problems. Healing agriculture essentially means ‘using agriculture for healing.’ In this study, we aim to present the methodology needed to develop a healing agriculture model through a conceptual approach to service design in healing agriculture. Healing agriculture and service design by extracting service design elements such as consumer-centered approach, system thinking, iterative approach, and sustainability from healing agriculture, linking natural environment and health, user-centered approach in service design, and measuring scientific effects of users. A method of presenting a healing agriculture model was proposed so that an effective model could be designed between the two.
