CONVERGÊNCIAS DE GOVERNANÇA E POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS VOLTADAS PARA O DESENVOLVIMENTO DE CIDADES INTELIGENTES

Abstract

The growth of cities will give rise to a series of challenges for public management, which must pay attention to the needs of citizens to make their lives more practical. The general objective of this study is to discover the viability of sustainable and intelligent practices, which can be applied in the Governance of cities. For that, population growth and sustainable development based on the Circular Economy were investigated; strategies for the development of Smart Cities; and the Circular Economy indicators applied to the Governance of cities. The results showed that many organizations have been carrying out studies to evaluate the evolution of cities, regarding their level of intelligence. It was concluded that Governance trends and Public Policies need to be internalized in the government's goals program, planned and implemented through effective actions, directed towards the development of circular, sustainable and intelligent housing.
