RUSSIAN LANGUAGE INDEX IN THE WORLD – 2023: BY THE YEAR OF THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE IN THE CIS COUNTRIES

Abstract

Данная статья посвящена обобщенному описанию выводов исследования «Индекс положения русского языка в мире», опубликованных в очередном выпуске за 2023 г. В статье рассматриваются основные положения и принципы реализации исследования, представлены основные тенденции в изменениях положения русского языка в странах Содружества, на постсоветском пространстве и мире. На основании анализа полученных результатов дается оценка конкурентоспособности русского языка и его устойчивости в странах бывшего СССР. Материалы исследования рассматриваются в ретроспективе, что позволяет сделать выводы относительно наметившихся трендов в динамике языковых, социальных, культурных и политических процессов. This article is devoted to a generalized description of the findings of the study «Russian Language Index in the World», published in the next issue for 2023. The article discusses the main provisions and principles for the implementation of research presented in the main provisions of the changes in the provisions of the Russian language in the Commonwealth countries, in the post-Soviet space and in the whole world. Based on the analysis of income received, an assessment is made of the profitability of the Russian language and stability in the countries of the former USSR. The materials of the study, conducted in retrospect, allow us to draw conclusions regarding the outline of trends in the dynamics of linguistic, social and cultural processes.
