Abstract

The emergence and development of information technology has affected all spheres of human activity, introducing innovations that allow a different look at the usual problems and their solutions. Sociology is no exception. At the moment, there are many novel tools that open up new opportunities for sociologists to collect, structure, and process data. Their appearance has a positive effect on the speed and quality of research, achieving the greatest results thanks to innovative statistical methods, new computer science, and original theories from certain fields of knowledge.
