A face-to-face survey was conducted on 60 employment counselors, and education priorities were derived through IPA analysis. The importance, frequency, and difficulty tendencies of the task elements at the responsibility level were almost similar, but the importance of the ‘report and evaluation’ responsibility was highly evaluated. In terms of perception of the competency level of career counselors, the career counselors themselves rated the desirable level and the current level highly, but the superiors showed different perceptions and were concerned about the problem of polarization.
