Abstract

This information booklet was written by an early career teacher for use by other front-line educators. It addresses the tension between Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) as a commonly used, evidence-based intervention for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ABA as the target of criticism and concern. Considering both the science and the concerns, how should educators proceed? Information, considerations, and straightforward recommendations are offered for teachers considering the use of ABA approaches in the classroom.
