According to the results obtained, it should be noted that potato varieties of different ripeness groups showed a significant discrepancy in the yield and marketability of tubers, as well as in the accumulation of the crop. The maximum yield in the conditions of North Ossetia-Alania was noted in the mid-ripening Getsby variety (43.3 t/ha). According to a number of biochemical indicators, potato varieties were distinguished: according to the content of vitamin C (> 13 mg%), the varieties Zhukovsky ranny, Vineta, Forward, Memphis, Jelly, Alvaro, Romano, Innovator, Fritella, Red Lady were distinguished.
