In the course of thestudy, the author investigated the processes associated with the development and implementationof innovative methods of personnel management, in particular talent management. The analysis of modern methods and tools for searching, evaluating and analysing the company’s personnel is carried out.Attention is focused on the fact that in order to create an effective talent management system, it is necessary to define criteria for evaluating potential candidates. Modern methods of personnel evaluation that can be used in the talent management system are systematized, namely: assessment centre,case-interview, testing, 360-degree method, brain storm, rating method, KPI method. To identify and attract talented candidates, it is suggested to use as follows: search in social networks, job and on specialized sites, recommendations of employees, passive candidates, targeting, and so on.Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Glassdoor, Telegram and Viber messengers are also used to develop the employer’s brand to find potential candidates. Attention is focused on the relevance of carrying out HR analytics, which allows collecting the required data on the state of the labour market, thecompany’s personnel and effectiveness of its management. It is proven that it is important to consider diversity and multicultarism when engaging staff andmanaging talent, because through an exclusive culture, the employees have a sense of security, belonging and recognition, as well as great opportunities for self-realization.Within the article, the experience of implementing by Deloitte and ABC Retail the talent management system, which could significantly increase the competitiveness and retain the best employees, is considered. The Deloitte’s talent management system is based on five key principles, namely: transparency, career development, commitment, collaboration, and leadership development.
