In this context, the study aimed to evaluate the anesthetic protocol in a dog submitted to a surgical procedure of enucleation to correct an eyeball prolapse, using pre-anesthetic medication. Dosages of propofol 3 mg/kg IV, midazolam 0.4 mg/kg IV and morphine 0.5 mg/kg IV did not cause adverse effects such as changes in heart and respiratory rates and/or vomiting.
