FOREIGN EXPERIENCE IN REGULATING ISSUES OF POVERTY AND ECONOMIC INEQUALITY

Abstract

The article analyzes the foreign experience of state regulation of poverty and economic inequality. It is emphasized that the problems of poverty and economic ine-quality are most effectively solved by the welfare state. Models of social states, which have their own characteristics, are considered. It is emphasized that it is important to find a balance in the redistribution of income that ensures high business activity and high rates of economic growth, but at the same time, so that social inequality is not very large. Directions for over-coming the risks associated with poverty and economic inequality are proposed for Belarus and Russia.
