Abstract

InternationalstandardsfromIECandIEEEregulatepowergridparameterssuchastheRMSvalue,frequency, harmonicandinterharmonicdistortion,unbalanceorthepresenceoftransients,thatareimportanttoassure thequalityofdistributedpower.StandardIEC61000-4-30suggeststhezerocrossingalgorithmforthe measurementofthepowergridfrequency,butalsostatesthatdifferentalgorithmscanbeused.
