Group Idea Education for Creativity Development

Abstract

This paper describes a team engineering design exercise to develop problem-solving and planning skills. The students conducted market research, product planning, and trial production of the LED desk stand. This article introduces the first half. They do market research, think about the most important problems, come up with technical ideas to solve the problems, and write a simple product proposal to make the ideas a reality. Problems and technical ideas are inspired by brainstorming. It is possible to develop the three basic abilities of Fundamental Competencies for Working Person, “the ability to step forward”, “the ability to think hard”, and “the ability to work in team”, through team competition.
