Development of Teaching Material on Torsional Rigidity

Abstract

We devised a torsion tester that can be manufactured relatively easily, and developed teaching materials that can understand the relationship between cross-sectional shape and torsional rigidity by torsional test bars with various cross-sectional shapes with this tester. After the experiment, a questionnaire and a test were conducted, and the results of the questionnaire were favorable, and most of the students answered all the questions correctly, indicating the effectiveness of this teaching material.
