Pengaruh Edukasi Kesehatan Menggunakan Media Video Terhadap Pencegahan Penularan Covid-19

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Covid-19 virus is a type of virus that is contagious to humans and attacks the respiratory system. The spread of this virus has affected public health. Lack of public understanding and lack of awareness in implementing health protocols has resulted in the spread of the Covid-19 virus infection quickly and uncontrollably. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education using video media on preventing the transmission of Covid-19 in the community. The method in this study used the pre-experimental method which included only one experimental group using the one group pre-test design and the post-test design. The sample in this study was 70 respondents in the intervention group according to the exclusion and inclusion criteria. Univariate data analysis in this study used frequency and percentage distributions, while for bivariate data analysis results used a non-parametric statistical test, the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study showed that there was an effect of health education using video media on preventing the transmission of Covid-19 with a p-value of 0.001 <0.05, meaning that there was a difference in knowledge before and after the intervention, where the respondent's score increased after the intervention was carried out. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant effect of community health education using video media on public knowledge in preventing the transmission of Covid-19. Keywords: Covid-19, Health Education, Video Media ABSTRAK Virus Covid-19 merupakan jenis virus yang menular pada manusia dan menyerang sistem pernafasan. Penyebaran virus ini telah mempengaruhi kesehatan masyarakat, Kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat dan kurangnya kesadaran dalam menerapkan protokol kesehatan menyebabkan penyebaran infeksi Virus covid-19 cepat dan tidak terkendali. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengatahui adanya pengaruh dari edukasi kesehatan menggunakan media video terhadap pencegahan penularan Covid-19 di masyarakat. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimen yang meliputi hanya satu kelompok eksperimen saja dengan menggunakan desain one group pre-test dan post-test design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 70 responden kelompok intervensi sesuai dengan kriteria ekslusi dan inklusi. Analisa data univariat pada penelitan ini menggunakan distribusi frekuensi dan presentase, sedangkan untuk hasil analisa data bivariat menggunakan uji statistik non parametic, uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan terdapat pengaruh dari adanya edukasi kesehatan menggunakan media video terhadap pencegahan penularan covid-19 dengan nilai p-value 0,001 < 0,05, artinya tedapat perbedaan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi, dimana nilai skor responden meningkat setelah di lakukan intervensi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan dari edukasi kesehatan mesyarakat menggunakan media video terhadap pengetahuan masyarakat dalampencegahan penularan covid-19.
