The primary outcome measure was the percentage of patients who achieved a goal low-density lipoprotein below 100 mg/dl±5 % and improvement in adherence to the prescribed medications after 2 mo. In the intervention group, a significant difference was observed in the low-density lipoprotein levels and improvement in adherence after 2 mo of pharmacist intervention.
