Fire extinguisher as a primary means of fire safety of vehicles

Abstract

This article identifies the causes of car fires and provides data on the number of vehicle-related fires. Some types of fire extinguishers are described with an analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of each of them, on the basis of which recommendations are given for vehicle users. The technical characteristics and requirements for fire extinguishers in the legislation of the Russian Federation, as well as types of punishments for their violation, are studied.
