By the time reform started for care of insane de-chaining was the first welcome move. The need for female care takers came up for those admitted insane. Better results were felt worth appointing trainees female caretakers for insane. Prominent physicians advocated training for female caretakers with a psychiatric aspect. Courses were designed and upgraded for psychiatric nursing and inclusion of public domain in that.
