This study aims to describe sleep quality and explore factors related to sleep quality among the freshmen students of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University Methods: We constructed a cross-sectional study on 601 first-year students of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, from January to December 2022. Data were collected based on a pre-designed questionnaire. Multiple logistic regression analysis was used to identify factors affecting students' sleep quality. Results: 45,9% of freshmen students had poor sleep quality. Some factors related to sleep quality include gender, living with relatives, Internet addiction, suicidal thoughts; physical activity, and BMI index. Conclusion: There is a high percentage of freshmen students experiencing poor sleep quality.
